US reports 5,529,789 coronavirus cases with 172,606 deaths

United States has reported 172,606 coronavirus deaths and 2,900,188 recoveries from 5,529,789 cases at 2:20 pm till Sunday (GMT 08:20am), according to latest data from worldometer.
So far, the number of active cases are 2,456,995.
Among the active cases, 17,186 patients are in critical condition, the source said.
In US, New York has reported 32,833 fatalities, followed by New Jersey with 15,910 deaths, California 11,218, Texas 10,268, Florida 9,345, Massachusetts 8,826, Michigan 6,586, Georgia 4,669, Arizona 4,992, Virginia 2,381 and Washington DC 1,766 respectively till date, according to Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
