The Jamaat and Shibir let loose violence attacking senior officials of police and damaging vehicles of law enforcers.
The DMP Commissioner said this addressing a press conference on violent reaction of Jamaat-Shibir to death of Sayeedi on Tuesday.
Sayeedi died of cardiac problem at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) at 8:40pm on Monday. Jamaat-Shibir committed anarchy after the death at night. Later, they came to BSMMU premises. Coming on Facebook live, they asked the party supporters to gather at the hospital area. Police also beefed up security measure to resist the anarchists.
