Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) came up with the decision in a press statement issued on Tuesday.
According to the new rate, from now on, per bhori of 22-carat gold will be sold at Tk 1,16,290, BAJUS said in the statement.
Besides, the prices per bhori of 21 and 18-carat gold have been set at Tk 1,10,995 and Tk 95,143, respectively while traditional gold will be sold at Tk 76,586 per bhori.
