The seven-day long traditional Baul Mela (folk singer congregation) in Narsingdi draws huge crowd.
The Baul Mela began at Sunday night on the bank of the Meghna River at Kawria para village under Narsingdi Pourashava area of the district with participation of over one hundred folk singers from home and abroad.
The Mela is being organised to promote and popularize traditional and historical Baul songs.
Baul singers from India and Nepal are participating in the Mela, said Jontu Baul, organiser of the Mela.
