AL men assault independent candidates Hero Alam at polling centre

Independent candidates for Dhaka-17 constituency by-elections Ashraful Hossain, popularly known as Hero Alam, came under attack at a polling centre in the city on Monday afternoon.
Hero Alam came under attack at Bidyaniketan School polling centre at about 2:30pm, the candidate himself alleged.
He said that he was beaten and driven out of the polling centre by the AL men.
Earlier in the morning, Hero Alam alleged that his polling agents were barred from entering polling centres and they were attacked by ruling Awami League activists.
