India’s Covid-19 death toll hits 7,719

India has reported 275,413 cases and 7,719 deaths from coronavirus till Wednesday, according to latest data from worldometer.
So far, 134,165 patients have recovered while 133,529 are active cases, the source reported.
According to Union health ministry update, the country recorded 9,985 cases in the last 24 hours.
Two hundred seventy four people died due to the disease in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said India is better positioned in the fight against the coronavirus disease in comparison to many countries but cautioned against any complacency.
