Mashrafee’s mother-in-law tests COVID-19 positive

The mother-in-law of former national cricket captain and Member of Parliament Mashrafee bin Murtaza and a relative were infected with COVID -19 positive, said an official on Monday.
Narail district civil surgeon Abdul Momen told New Age the lab authorities in Khulna confirmed him that Mashrafee’s mother-in-law Hosne Ara and a niece of his wife Sumona Haque were infected by the virus.
‘I was told by the lab officials that the mother-in-law of the honorable MP is COVID-19 positive. But they were yet to send me the documents. We got the papers of the niece of his wife though. She is positive,’ he said.
The samples of Mashrafee’s mother-in-law and the niece for COVID-19 test were collected on Saturday, he said
