Sangbad Acting Editor Khandkar Moniruzzaman passes away

Acting Editor of the Daily Sangbad Khandkar Moniruzzaman passed away Tuesday morning. He was 72.
Testing positive for Coronavirus on October 31, he got admitted to city’s Mugda Hospital where he breathed his last.
The renowned journalist and Jatiya Press Club member Moniruzzaman started his career in weekly Ekota in 1970.
Prior to be editor, he was in charge of the editorial department of the newspaper. While studying in Dhaka University, he was associated with leftist politics.
He is survived by his wife, a son and daughter-in-law and host of relatives and well-wishers.
