2 siblings killed in Khulna road crash

Two siblings were killed in a road accident in Chukanagar area in Dumuria upazila of Khulna on Saturday evening.
The deceased were identified as Sabbir Hossain and his younger brother Rakib Sheikh, 4, sons of Amjad Sheikh, hailing from the area.
Quoting locals, police said a passenger bus hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw carrying them in front of Sandhani Life Insurance Office on Chuknagar-Jashore Highway, leaving Rakib dead on the spot and elder brother Sabbir injured.
Later, Sabbir succumbed to his wounds on the away to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH).
Officer-in-charge of Chuknagar Highway Police Station Rezaul Karim Reza said that the police seized the bus and the bodies were sent to the hospital morgue for autopsies.
