Female govt officer found dead in city house

Police recovered the body of a female government official from a building in Dhanmondi area of the capital on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Shubrata Adhikari, 33, was the deputy divisional controller of accounts.
She was living at flat no 4 of house no 21 of Dhanmondi -1 in Dhaka.
Md Sajjadur Rahman, deputy commissioner of Ramna divisional police, said there was an injury a mark on Subrata’s neck.
The body of the deceased was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy, he said.
Sajjadur Rahman also said Subrata’s husband Sanjeev Karmakar was not at home at the time of the incident as he was at his work place in Barisal.
The exact cause of her death will be known after getting autopsy report, he said.
