2 killed, 30 injured in Kishoreganj clash

Two people were killed and at least 30 others injured in a clash between two rival groups over trifling matter in Itna upazila of Kishoreganj on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Badal Mia, son Nur Hossain and Mirash Ali, 70, son of late Lalmia, both of them hailing from Projarkanda village at Mriga union of the upazila.
Confirming the news, Md Murshed Jaman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Itna police station, said the clash took place in the morning at Mriga Bazaar.
“Badal Mia and Mirash Ali died on the spot. The injured are being treated at Itna Thana Health Complex,” he said.
