The intensity of cold wave has decreased at winter-hit five regions across the country on Sunday.
A mild cold wave which is sweeping over Naogaon, Panchagarh, Nilphamari, Kurigram and Chuadanga, may spread to a few more areas, Met office said.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 8.2 degree Celsius in Tetulia of Pnachagarh today, Meteorological Department said. The temperature was recorded at 7.7 degree Celsius in the same upazila the previous day.
The night temperature may rise in the next three days, met office said.
The mercury may persist dry with temporary partly clouded sky in the next 24-hour starting from 9 am on Sunday.
A light to moderate fog may occur across the country during a period from midnight to morning.
