A youth was stabbed to death in board daylight by two men over previous enmity in Munshirdail area at Baramoheshkhali union under Moheskhali upazial of Cox’s Bazar on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Gafur, 35, son of Firoj Mia, hailing from the area.

The father of the deceased said that two persons naming Yusuf and Jalal, of the same area, chased Abdul Gafur to kill him over previous enmity. At one point, they stabbed Gafur and fled the scene at 10:00 am, leaving him critically injured.
He was later rescued in critical condition and taken to Moheskhali Upazila Health Complex. Later, he was sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital but Gafur succumbed to his wounds on the way.

Confirming the news, Ashish, officer-in-charge (OC-Investigation) of Moheskhali Police Station said that police are conducting operation to arrest the killers.
