The cold wave, which is sweeping across the country, may continue three more days.
A mild to moderate cold wave is sweping over Rangpur, Srimangal, Pabna, Badalgachhi upazila of Panchagarh, Bogura, Dinajpur and Chuadanga and it may continue for a few more days.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 7.9 degree Celsius in Srimangal on Saturday, Bangladesh Meteorological Department said.
The Met office forecast that the mercury with clouded sky may continue for 24-hour starting from 9am on Saturday.
Mild to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere during midnight to morning.
Day and night temperature may remain unchanged in the next three days.
