3 killed as human hauler falls into ditch in Bandarban

At least three workers were killed and 5 others injured as human hauler, locally known as “Chander Gari”, fell into a roadside ditch in Wak Chakku para area under Thanchi upazila of Bandarban on Thursday morning.
One of the deceased was identified as Lal Chin El Bom, 22, hailing from Baklai para in the upazila.
The vehicle plunged into a ditch after the driver lost control of the vehicle at the area at 10:30am, leaving 3 workers dead on the spot and 5 others injured, said Officer-in-charge of Thanchi Police Station Saifuddin.
Later, the injured were taken to Bandarban Sadar Hospital in critical condition, he said.
