Jhenaidah road crash: Death toll rises to 12

Two people, who were injured in a road accident on Wednesday afternoon in Jhenaidah, succumbed to their injuries on Thursday morning, raising the death toll to 12.
They were undergoing treatment at Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex, said Mahfujur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station.
At least 10 people, including women and children, were killed and 30 others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a passenger bus at Kaliganj upazila in Jhenaidah on Wednesday.
The tragic accident took place near Baroipara of Kaliganj upazila in the district at around 3:00pm.
