2 killed in bus-truck collision in Chattogram

At least two people, including a woman, were killed and several others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Forest gate area under Lohagara upazila of Chattogram on Monday morning.
The deceased were identified as Rina, 20 and Sanowar, 30.
The Chattogram-bound passenger bus of ‘Marsa Paribahan’ collided with the stone-laden truck coming from opposite direction at 8:00 am in the area, leaving the duo dead on the spot and several others injured, said Md Adam Ali, assistant-sub-inspector (ASI) of Dohazari Highway police station.
The injured were admitted to a local hospital, he said.
