2 workers killed in Satkhira road crash

Two workers were killed and 15 others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a pick-up van in Tala upazila of Satkhira early Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Munna and Shafiqul, both of them hailing from Jafarpur village in Kaliganj upazila.
Mehedi Russel, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tala police station, the truck collided with the pick-up van carrying the victims coming from opposite direction on Satkhira-Khulna highway in Shubhashini area, leaving Munna and Shafiqul died on the spot and 15 others injured.
Later, the injured were taken to Satkhira Medical College Hospital.
