Bashundhara Cement will be used for the constructions of bridge, culvert, overpass and underpass in developing the road from Mokamtala to Palashbari of the northern region of the country under the SASEC Road Connectivity Project-II: Improvement of Elenga-Hatikamrul-Rangpur Road to a 4-Lane Highway.
The China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corporation has decided to use the cement of Bashundhara for construction of bridge, culvert, overpass and underpass for the improvement of 29.9 km road under the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Road Connectivity Project-II.
In this regard, Bashundhra Industrial Complex Limited made an agreement with the China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corporation at a five star hotel in the capital on Thursday.
Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir and SASEC Road Connectivity (WP-10) project manager Zhang Zhong Wei signed the deal on behalf of their respective organisations.
Mentionable, SASEC or South Asia Sub-regional Economic Cooperation Road Connectivity Project-II is an initiative to upgrade around 190km of road from Elenga to Rangpur to a four-lane highway via Hatikumrul for improving road communication between the capital and 16 northern districts.
