Four people were taken to custody of detective branch (DB) of police for interrogation in connection with the recovery of a blood-stained body of a physician named Kazi Sabira Rahman Lipi from Kalabagan in Dhaka on Monday.
Deputy commissioner (DC) of DB Ramna division Azimul Huq confirmed it to journalist on Monday afternoon.
He said, “A student who lives in sublet, his friend, caretaker of the house and a domestic help were taken to custody for interrogation.”
Kazi Sabira Rahman Lipi’s body was recovered from a residence of Kalabagan in the capital on Monday noon.
Talking to journalist, Sabira’s cousin Md Rezaul Islam said, “We assume it as a murder. But a fire incident has been arranged to divert it another way. Right now, we do not suspect anyone. Police will be able to give details after investigation.”
