Of the deceased, eight died of Covid-19 while three died with coronavirus-like symptoms.

The deaths were recorded from Friday morning to Saturday morning. 

Dr Shuhash Ranjan Haldar, focal person of KMCH’s coronavirus unit, and also the hospital’s resident medical officer, confirmed the information on Saturday.

Of the 11 dead people, eight died at the red zone of the hospital while three others died at the yellow zone in the last 24 hours, he said.
