Mother, son found dead in Kushtia

Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her 9-month-old minor son from their house in Kushtia on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Aklima Khatun, wife of Ratan and their minor son Jhim.
Sabbirul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kushtia Sadar Model Police Station, locals entered into Aklima’s house and Aklima’s body was found hanging while the body of Jhim was lying on the bed.
The OC said that Aklima was mentally ill. It is believed that the woman committed suicide after killing her son. However, everything can be confirmed after receiving the investigation report.
