Chattogram records lowest Covid-19 positivity rate

Chattogram district recorded ever-lowest Covid-19 positivity rate of 2.02 percent since the pandemic broke out here while 26 fresh cases were reported after testing 12,184 samples during the last 24 hours till Friday morning.
With the new infection, the number of coronavirus cases reached 101,516. “The number of cured patients from the lethal virus stood at 86,505 in the district with the recovery of 86 more patients in last 24 hours,” Dr Rabbi said, adding that the percentage of recovery rate is 85.51.
With three new death in the 24 hours, the death toll reached 1,289 in the district.
A total of 2,501 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at designated hospitals here.
