Boat Capsize in Padma: 36 rescued alive, missing 8

Thirty-six people were rescued alive so far in the incident of boat capsize in Padma river under Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj.
Four bodies were recovered after the boat capsize. According to police, eight people are still missing.
Local chairman, however, claimed that six people are missing in the incident.
Fire service personnel resumed search operation on Thursday (September 30) morning.
The boat sank around 2:15pm on Thursday (September 29) when it was heading towards Dash Rashia of Paka Union of Shibganj upazila from Boglauri Ghat of the same upazila.
