Miscreants stab teenager to death in Kamrangirchar

A teenager was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in the capital’s Kamrangirchar Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Md Ripon, 16, son of late Alam Sharif of Palerchar village in Jajira upazial of Shariatpur.
Shubh Matbar, a friend of the deceased’s elder brother, said local terrorists, including Shawon (13), waylaid Ripon and stabbed him and fled while he was returning home after finishing his duty at 11am.
The terrorists also snatched Ripon’s mobile phone during the attack.
Later, locals took him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where duty doctor declared Ripon dead.
Inspector Bachchu Mia, also in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost, said the body was kept at the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
