Voting to Sirajganj-6 by-polls and 9 municipalities across the country were held on Tuesday.
The voting began at 8.00 am today and continued till 4.00pm without any break.
About 4,20,780 voters cast their votes at 160 voting centers through EVM in Sirajganj-6 by-polls.
The seat fell vacant after Awami League lawmaker Md Hasibur Rahman Swapon passed away on September 2 while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Turkey.
Meanwhile, the municipalities where elections are held are Ghorashal in Narsingdi district, Chagalnaiya in Feni, Sonatala in Bogra, Ghoraghat in Dinajpur, Domar in Nilphamari, Lohagarh in Narail, Pakundia in Kishoreganj, Kasba in Brahmanbaria and Ramgarh in Khagrachhari.
