Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced fresh programmes to press home demand for allowing party chief Khaleda Zia to receive better treatment abroad.
Terming Khaleda Zia’s condition very critical, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the programmes at press conference at the Naya Paltan party office Wednesday afternoon.
The programmes will be held or modified subject to Khaleda Zia’s health condition, said Fakhrul.
He said the government has pushed BNP chief to death without any treatment in the last three years.
“The government has imprisoned this charismatic leader to abolish country’s democracy,” he added.
