BNP’s Bogura-6 Member of Parliament Golam Mohammad Siraj and his wife Shahnaj Siraj tested positive for Covid -19.
The couple gave their sample for corona test on Friday as they had symptoms of the virus and the test result emerged positive on Saturday afternoon.
They are doing well and taking treatment from isolation at their residence in the capital’s Banani.
Confirmign the matter, Atikur Rahman, private secretary of the MP, said the they requested the countrymen to pray for their quick recovery.
