2 minors slaughtered in Mymensingh

Two minors were slaughtered and another kid was injured by a youth in Iswarganj upazila of Mymensingh on Monday noon.
The deceased were identified as Sayma, 5, daughter of parents Jakir Hossain and Salma Akter of Netrokona and her cousin Tripti, 4, daughter of Jahagir Alam and Halima Khatun of Nandail upazila.
Locals caught killer Mahbub Alam, 25, alleged uncle of the victims.
The incident took place at Paschimpara of Kazir Balsa village in Uchakhila union of the upazila around 12:15 pm.
The injured minor was sent to a local hospital.
Ishwarganj Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Qadir Mia confirmed the information and said, “Police went to the spot after receiving the news”.
