Three Bangladeshi celebrities have been nominated for the “Filmfare Awards”, Bollywood’s most prestigious and popular event, for the first time.
Polpular actor Mosharraf Karim, lyricist Asif Iqbal and Mahtim Shakib were nominated for the prestigious awards in three categories.
Among them, Mosharraf Karim has been nominated in the Best Actor (Critic) category for his acting in the movie “Dictionary” directed by Bratya Basu.
Lyricist Asif Iqbal has been nominated in the Best Lyricist category for the song ‘Mayar Kangal Ami’ from the movie “Olpo Holeo Sotti”.
Beside, young singer Mahtim Shakib has been nominated in the Best Singer category for his song ‘Takey Olpo Kachhe Dakchhi’ from the movie “Prem Tame”.
The fifth edition of the Filmfare Awards will be organised on March 17. Meanwhile, Mosharraf Karim has already reached Kolkata to take part in the programme.
