3 killed in Mymensingh road accident

Three people, including an auto-rickshaw driver, were killed and three others injured after a truck hit a rickshaw in Parura area of Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh on Thursday afternoon.
Two of the deceased were identified as Abdul Matin, 50, and Hossain Ali, 45, both hailed from the upazila.
The Bhaluka-bound truck hit the parked rickshaw carrying the victims on Bhaluka-Gafargaon road, leaving two dead on the spot and four others injured, said Md Kamal Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bhaluka Police Station.
Later, the injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital where another died, he said.
