Sylhet-bound train from Dhaka catches fire

A fire broke out in the Sylhet-bound intercity Parabat train from Dhaka on Saturday.
The incident took place at about 1:00pm near Shamsernagar railway station.
The fire did not spread as local people separated the other bogies from the burning ones.
However, two compartments of the train were seen burning during the fire.
Three units of Kamalganj Fire Service, Srimangal Fire Service and Moulvibazar Fire Service are trying to bring the fire under control.
Srimangal Railway Station assistant station master Shakhawat Hossain confirmed New Age about the fire incident and said that no passenger was injured.
Train communications between Sylhet and Dhaka remained suspended till filing this report.
