Leader of the opposition in parliament Raushan Ershad has returned home from Bangkok today after nearly seven and a half months’ stay there for medical treatment.
Raushan Ershad reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:10 pm on Monday, party sources said.
Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader along with party leaders and activists was present at the airport to welcome Raushan.
On November 5 last year, Raushan flew to Thailand by air ambulance as her condition deteriorated. She had been receiving treatment at Bumrungrad Hospital since then.
Earlier, Raushan Ershad, 78, underwent treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) as she fell ill due to old age complications.
