SM Jilani and Rajiv Ahsan have been made president and general secretary of the newly formed committee of of Jatiotabadi Swechchasebok Dal respectively.

The five-member partial committee was announced on Sunday.

Zilani was the former president of Swechchasebak Dal’s Dhaka south city unit while Rajib was the ex-president of BNP’s student wing Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD).

The three other office bearers of the body are Yasin Ali – No 1 vice-president, Saiful Islam Firoz – No 1 joint general secretary and Nazmul Hasan – organising secretary.

The party also announced the partial committees of Swechchasebak Dal’s Dhaka south and north city units.

Shafiuddin Sentu was made president of Swechchasebak Dal’s Dhaka south city unit while Zakir Hossain its general secretary and Omar Farooq organizing secretary.

Besides, Anwar Hossain was appointed to the post of president of Dhaka’s north city unit while Azizur Rahman Mosabbir and Farid Hossain to general secretary and organising secretary post respectively.
