Bangladesh government would not take any loan from the International Monitory Fund with tough conditions, said the ruling Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader on Wednesday.
‘We’ll take the loan but not with any tough condition,’ he said at a press conference held at the road transport and bridges ministry conference room at the secretariat.
He said that the government would take the rational conditions only.
Replying to a question, Obaidul, also the road transport and bridges minister, asked the journalist to apply his common sense that what the hard conditions could be.
Replying to another question, he also said that they were looking into the allegation of money laundering.
He alleged that the main opposition party Bangladesh Nationalist Party did not consider the interest of the public.
The next polls would be conducted by the AL government, not under any caretaker government, he added.
Replying to another question he said that the economic crisis of the country would be deepened in future due to the overall global crisis.
