Bangladesh 176-3 at tea in record chase against India

Yumesh Yadav, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav struck afterwards the lunch break of the day-four play to rebound India in first of the two-match Test series against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on Saturday.

Liton Das who survived a leg before appeal by Yadav was eventually finished with 19 by the same bowler prior to the day’s second pause.

In the first innings, Bangladesh were all-out for a meager 150 while India who posted a sizeable 404 in their first innings made 258-2d to gain a mammoth 513-run lead in the second innings.

That meant the hosts still required 337 runs to win the tie with one and a half days to spare.
