‘Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions’, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours begins from 9:00 am on Tuesday.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the district of Rajshahi and it may continue.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 36.7 degree Celsius jointly at Rajshahi and Mongla while the lowest temperature today was recorded 20.2 degree Celsius at Rajarhat.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6:00am on Tuesday was recorded 33 millimeters (mm) at Dimla.
