A total of 44 thousand Hajj pilgrims have not got visas yet for going to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.

Getting visa depends on confirmation of renting house in Saudi Arabia, confirming tickets for flights, ensuring route for entering the country to perform Hajj  and confirming date for leaving Bangladesh and returning home.

If a single requirement remains unfulfilled, a pilgrim will not be provided with visas.

Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) and Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed this information on Saturday.

As many as 44,268 Hajj pilgrims are not given visas due to lack of fulfillment of conditions by some agency owners.

Regarding the matter, HAAB President M Shahadat Hossain Taslim said agency owners are to fulfill every condition given by Saudi Arabia. If any pilgrim fails to meet a single condition, he/she will not get visa.
