The 11-km-long Airport-Tejgaon portion of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway will be opened for the vehicular movement in September, this year.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will open it, hoped Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.
After inspecting the project’s progress today (8 July), he talked to the journalists in this regard.
Three-wheelers and motorbikes, however, will not be given permission to enter the expressway, the minister added.
