Students of seven colleges affiliated to Dhaka University on Tuesday blocked capital’s Nilkhet intersection demanding relaxation of the CGPA conditions and promotion in the next year with a quality improvement test.

On Tuesday at about 12:40pm, a group of students from different educational institutions affiliated to Dhaka University, blocked Nilkhet crossing.

As a result of the students’ blockade, all traffic from Science Lab to Azimpur and from Azimpur to Science lab remained halted.

The students said that they will continue their demonstration until their demands are not.

Seven college coordinator, also the principal of Eden Women’s College, Professor Supriya Bhattacharya could not be reached over phone for her comment in this regard.

Earlier, on August 16, they blocked Nilkhet intersection with the same demand.
