The High Court on Wednesday issued a rule banning expulsion of examinees from Primary Education Completion and its equivalent Ebtedayee Terminal Examinations.
A HC bench of M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Mostafizur Rahman issued the order on Wednesday morning.
The HC also annulled the no 11 point in the PEC code of conduct which empowered invigilator to cancel or expel examinees.
The Directorate of Primary Education in its 11-point directive issued in December 2018 empowered invigilator to cancel or expel examinees from the examinations if they talk each other during examinations, carry unauthorised papers or substance in the exam halls and copying.
