Young director Abu Tawhid Hiran passes away

Young director Abu Tawhid Hiran, famous for his movie ‘Adam’, died of a heart attack on Monday.

The director breathed his last at his home in 30 New Eskaton of the capital at 6am.

His family members and actor Saif Khan confirmed his death today.

Hiran called the caretaker Gazi Nazrul of the house early in the morning and said he was sick. But, the caretaker failed to enter the room as it was locked from the inside, Nazrul said.

Later, he broke open the door with the help of neighbours and found Hiran dead, Nazrul added.

Abu Tawhid Hiran, hailed from Khalishpur of Khulna, directed the film ‘Adam’. Actors Yash Rohan, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Raisul Islam Asad, and Shahiduzzaman Salim shared the screen in the movie.

After the movie ‘Adam’, Hiran started working on a film titled ‘Rong Road’. Apart from these, the young director announced making another movie called ‘The Puppy’.
