A Supreme Court lawyer submitted an application to Anti-Corruption Commission on Wednesday seeking the commission’s steps over graft allegations against former Army chief of Bangladesh General Aziz Ahmed.
SC lawyer Salauddin Regan submitted the application to the ACC headquarters in the capital’s Segun Bagicha.
Salauddin Regan told New Age that he submitted the complaint as the ACC was yet to take any steps to conduct inquiry over the graft allegations against the former army chief, Aziz Ahmed.
Earlier, the United States Department of State had announced that the former chief of the Bangladesh Army, General Aziz Ahmed, and his family members were generally ineligible to enter the US due to his involvement in ‘significant corruption’.
