Bangladesh Bank’s two deputy governors and the head of the Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) have finally submitted their resignations to the government under pressure from officials.
Apart from this, the adviser of the central bank has submitted his resignation letter to the governor.
They send their resignation letters to the Financial Institutions Division secretary on Monday.
It is known that the Ministry of Finance informed them yesterday that they have to submit the resignation letter by 1 pm today.
According to the instructions, Deputy Governor Khurshid Alam and Kazi Sayedur Rahman, BFIU chief Masud Biswas also submitted his resignation letter.
Similarly, Abu Farah Md Nasser, policy advisor of Bangladesh Bank, has submitted his resignation letter to the governor.
