Man killed in ‘gunfight’ at Mohammadpur Geneva Camp

A 32-year-old man was shot dead in a reported gunfight between two groups at Geneva Camp in Mohammadpur area of Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Wednesday.
The deceased is Md Manu, son of Md Babul.
Inspector Bachhu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp, said the gunfight took place between two groups when Manu sustained bullet injuries.
Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
A tense situation has been prevailing at the Geneva camp ‘over controlling drug business’ and the gunfight took place over the issue, said locals.
