Bashundhara Kings continued their utter dominance in the domestic football arena by clinching the Women’s Football League for second consecutive time with two matches to spare.
Holders Kings beat fourth-placed Cumilla United by 6-0 goals in their title deciding match at Birshrestha Shaheed Sipahi Mohammad Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Thursday.
Kings are in top slot of the point table with 36 points from 12 consecutive wins, nine points ahead of their nearer opponents Ataur Rahman Bhuyan College Sporting Club.
Their other two matches will be held against fifth-placed Jamalpur Kacharipara Akadas on July 17 and sixth-placed Nasrin Sports Academy on July 19, both at the same venue.
