Coronavirus: US death toll rises to 128,783

The United States reported 128,783 deaths from coronavirus till Tuesday (BDT 14:07 pm), according to latest data from worldometer.
So far, 26,81,811 people have tested positive with coronavirus till date in the country, the source said.
Besides, 11,17,177 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease, while 14,35,851 are active cases, the source said.
Among the active cases, the number of critical patients are 15,864.
In US, New York has reported 31,403 deaths, followed by New Jersey with 14,992, California 5,983, Florida 3,447, Texax 2,416 and Washington DC 1,320, according to Johns Hopkins University.
