The Chittagong University goes into a 14-day lockdown from Saturday morning to contain the spread of coronavirus on the campus.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr Shirin Akhtar took the decision through urgent discussions with the syndicate members of CU after two people in the campus area were found infected with the deadly virus.
However, the emergency administrative activities of the university will be conducted from the office of Chittagong Institute of Fine Arts during the time of lockdown.
