No gas supply for 12hrs in some city areas on Sunday

City dwellers of many areas will not get gas for 12 hours on Sunday due to gas pipeline relocation work, according to Titas Gas.
The areas, which are under the route alignment of Elevated Expressways, include both sides of Shaheed Taj Uddin Avenue, Banani, Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka Cantonment residential area, East Nakhalpara and adjoining areas.
People of these areas will not get gas from 8:00am to 8:00pm, Deputy General Manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd Eng Md Selim said.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd will work on pipeline relocation and reset consumer gas line connections stretching from Mohakhali bus stoppage to Banani railway station during this period, he added.
