A total of  745,927 people died from coronavirus worldwide in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

So far, 20,522,191 coronavirus cases have been detected at 10:30 am Bangladesh time till Wednesday (05:30 am GMT). Of them, 13,441,913 patients have been considered recovered, the source said.

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,334,351.

With the new tally in the 24-hour, 6,997 patients died from coronavirus while 267,506  patients have tested positive, and 323,295  patients have made fully recovery.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 167,749 deaths, followed by Brazil with 103,099, Mexico 53,929, UK 46,628, India 46,188, Italy 35,215, France 30,354, Spain 28,581, Iran 18,800, Russia 15,131, Germany 9,268, Canada 8,991, Pakistan 6,112, Indonesia 5,824, Saudi Arabia 3,233, UAE 358 and Australia 352 respectively, worldometer reported.
